Hey there! I’m thrilled to be a part of your upcoming education experience! My name is Katie Jacoby and I own the Babe Cave Studio in York, Pennsylvania.

I knew from a very young age that the beauty industry was for me and I’m incredibly blessed to be able to do what I love day in and day out. I am proud to say I graduated from The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School located in Frederick, MD with distinct honors. I have continued my education over the years in order to keep on top of the most recent techniques and trends within our industry. I love to attend seminars and not just proctor them!

I have been in the beauty industry for over 10 years and have been involved in education for just about half of that. I’ve taught with several of the world's leading brands including Paul Mitchell, Wella, Nioxin, Sebastian, and Kadus. I am currently an independent education contractor with the Coty Inc. Brands and Maria Rose Inspires. Maria Rose Inspires, formerly known as Allied Beauty Educators, will always have a special place in my heart. As a company and an amazing team, we care so deeply about every student's education. We strive for full understanding and pride ourselves on providing the most up to date hair extension techniques.

When not traveling to provide education, I offer my clients a full-service menu at my studio. I specialize in color corrections, precision cutting, and hair extensions. I also enjoy providing on-site wedding services and working on set for editorial shoots.

In my free time [whats that, right?-joking] I love to spend time with my family at the lake and frequent the beach.
