Hi loves! I’m Zoe, aka @thehairdemon. I am a graduate of Paul Mitchell Schenectady. I got my license in January 2023. It’s crazy that I have only been licensed for several months but to me, it already feels like a lifetime. Believe it or not, before my adventures in cosmetology, I achieved my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. My desire in that field was to be a forensic investigator; I always took a liking to things people normally would call morbid. Although I think in another lifetime this would have been the perfect job for me, in this one, I felt otherwise. Having to quit my full-time job to attend cos school full-time and change my whole path came with a lot of struggles but I wouldn’t go back and change a thing! I think I always knew deep down that this was my passion; sometimes you have to take two steps back to take one step forward. One of my favorite things about this career is the smiles I am able to put on people’s faces. As someone who struggled for years with self-image, I love being able to help those find their true, best selves. Outside of work, I enjoy soaking in the sun, relaxing, indulging in different foods, doing some sick makeup looks, and mostly spending time with my 15-year-old angel baby kitty. In the cos world, I truly enjoy a bit of everything- from hair, to makeup, to nails. However, I specialize in vivids and extensions! I am so excited and honored to become part of such an amazing group here at Maria Rose Inspires!
